Language Is The Foundation Of All Sales.

Regardless of whether you are doing sales on the phone or meet with clients in person you must have the skills of effective language communication. It is important to be able to express their thoughts using appropriate voice prompts to facilitate listener perception of your information. However, the correct use of verbal language can be even more important. You can speak the same language with the clients and potential clients but do you really talk to them in their language?
You need to know your audience
One of my colleagues at the university was a journalism professor who told his students that in order to become a successful newspaper reporter you should be able to write at the level of sixth grade students. Journalists, who know how to express themselves simply, achieve success. The same applies to sales. Great salespeople know how to talk with the audience during presentations.
Too often, our undeveloped language skills distort the perception of us as talented, knowledgeable professionals. We stutter and mumble trying to find the right word. Shaped, simple language and short sentences work best. When you start to look for so-called bright words or trying to turn your speech into a long monologue you’re applying for a higher degree of understanding and effectiveness.
Avoid expressions that deny your speech power
Some expressions, phrases and words are deprived of power. Such expressions should be avoided. Disadvantages of speech reduce your confidence in us and undermine our credibility and diminish our professionalism.
Examples of such expressions:
“I believe”
“I hope”
“Maybe”
“Sort of”
“Kind of”
“Probably”
You are not powerless against such phrases. There are three ways to reduce their impact on language skills:
find out how you tend to use these words and phrases;
adjusting their conversational speech;
constantly trying to replace “bad” about good.
Try to avoid the issues and end of words-parasites
Limit questions also can weaken your speech. These issues are attributable to the end of a sentence, give the impression that you are not sure that just said or waiting for approval. For example, the phrase: “I think this is a good suggestion, do not you think so?” This is “well do not you think?” weakens the ending of your sentence. If your goal is to stimulate conversation and encourage a reply ask yourself the question: “I think this is a good proposal. What are your impressions? This allows you to express your opinion or feeling and encourage your buddy to the response phrase, not devaluing at the same time you set out the information.
