Getting Indexed In Google

The buzz floating around the webmaster forums is people not sure what the index is and if they know of course they want to know how to get indexed. This little green bar is still a good way to tell how important a web page or site is to Google and will tell you if a website worth your time or not. The little green bar has no importance, but to tell you how important the page is to Google it will not determine in any way your position within the SERPs. Once you have the toolbar downloaded it will be time to seek out major sites worth investing your time into. The best place to start for any new webmaster is in the forums. It is almost a rite of passage for those new to the online world trudging through post after post learning from a-z what you must know to make it online. My favorite forum is v7n webmaster community I started and have been active in that forum for a couple years now. The webmasters there taught me the basics and brought me from making nothing to a few hundred monthly.

Personally the places I go first are high PR sites which allow you to place links. Such places include digg.com, ezinearticles.com, buzzle.com, and problogger.com (be sure to leave a good comment on the post you read please do not spam the blog or your comment will be rejected). There are actually many blogs which are do follow and can be used to index your website quickly. To find these go to Google and search for “list of do follow blogs”.
