on page seo Introducing On Page SEOSearch engine optimization or SEO is not intended only for commercial websites. It is also not complicated. All you have to do is to know something about keywords, competition, and page SEO elements. The purpose of SEO is to be present in search results, preferably on top positions. This will bring visitors to your website.

SEO can be divided into two groups: on-page SEO and off-page SEO. Both can be applied to any website. Off-page optimization deals with backlinks while on-page optimization is about the page itself. The purpose of page optimization is to create a page which is “optimized” for a specific keyword. This keyword is usually a popular search phrase that people use to find things on the web. Selecting right keywords is not simple and you need special tools for best results. However, basic keyword selection can be done by using only freely available tools on the web.

Once the target keywords are chosen you need to build pages around them. The most important rule and basic SEO element is good, quality unique content. Text copied from other pages will be detected and such pages usually do not rank well. Creating unique text is very simple. You need to know a little about the subject and then you can easily write about it using your own words.

The point of optimization is to clearly mark target keywords. It should be clear to people and search engines what the page is about. To achieve this goal you need to start with human visitors. Make a clear page with easy navigation. Use header tags to label titles, make sure the target keyword is present in the title and it is mentioned few times in the text, try to use also some synonyms, pictures or videos.

In some cases it may happen that the keyword frequency will exceed what is considered as normal. This is approximately 6% for single words and 2% for longer keywords. You can use many freely available tools for word frequency analysis–there is even a plugin for Firefox that can analyze your text.

The last step of optimization is to add meta elements like meta description and page keywords. It depends on the content management system you are using how and where you can enter meta data. Meta description is very important because some search engines including Google can use this text for the page description displayed in search results. The simplest advice for page optimization is to create usable pages for visitors and then to make some small modifications for search engines.

One example of page SEO is the Cheap Garden Furniture website. It has only few pages for popular furniture like swing hammocks, small garden benches, swing seats, etc. Each page is focused around one keyword and anybody can quickly find out what the page is about.

Bloggers who are trying to find information about one way links, then please go to the web site which is mentioned in this line.
