Backlinks for SEO

Everyone has heard that you have to get a ton of backlinks to get to the top of the search engines. Some SEO experts point to long tail keywords, others just say to go for the gold. The problem is nobody really tells you how you should go about getting backlinks to your website, only that you should.
There are so many training courses out there that tell you how to get backlinks. Well, at least they have ways you could get backlinks. The main one I use is not exchanging links. If this is how you plan on doing your SEO let me tell you now, you might as well give up. This is old science, and I truly don’t believe it even works anymore.
So is there an easier way to get your site to the top of the search engines? There is an easier way to get links, there are several easier ways. This doesn’t mean you are going to get to the top of the search engines though because you have to know exactly what you want to get to the top of the search engines for, and some words just aren’t practical to get to the top of search engines.
Don’t be fooled by these people in forums who say building links quickly will get you banned. This is false. I have all kinds of sites that I have built backlinks by the thousands a day and none of my sites are banned, most of them are on page one for at least some keyword phrase. I think people that say this just don’t want people to have success because they are building links the hard way.
You can easily get to the top of Google. You need to learn how to build thousands of links. As for SEO here is how you do it. Find keywords that are searched for, put them in your title, then write content with those words in it, then get thousands of links pointed to your site with those keywords in the anchor text. There is SEO, now go out and learn how to build those links.
