There are a few things to consider in our search for cheap web traffic. One of the main points of course is how large is our budget going to be, we need to establish this cost first. This will then help us to decide if we will put in the effort and the time required personally or if we can get an SEO expert to help us generate traffic.
If we don’t have a lot of money to invest in our project, then we may be better off initially just working on the project ourselves. One thing to look at is the actual cost of each click-through, simply divide the total investment spent by the number of people that have clicked through to your site, this will give you the cost per click. There are many different ways to generate free traffic.
The number one tool for generating great targeted traffic to web sites is ‘ building links’, because by building links, you not only generate directly targeted traffic to your web site from other online resources, but it will also help you climbing high in search results of search engines, which directs hundreds and thousands of visitors to sites.
PPC means ‘pay per click’ or purchased traffic. What you do use search engine links and PPC programs and place your links on other peoples sites. When visitors click on them and land on your site, you pay for those clicks. The amount you pay for these links and clicks depends on the competitiveness of the selected keywords and their popularity. It is a pretty fast way of generating traffic through links to your web site and it can be pretty inexpensive.
The cheapest but most time consuming way to build links is to develop them yourself. What I mean is that you plan your link campaign and carry it out either manually or using software, but keep constantly submitting your site ( on a monthly basis) . You may swap links with other sites; you may use article marketing placing free articles on other peoples blogs, forums, sites, ezines or directories and linking them to your site; you may exchange one way links with other web masters, that is if you have several sites and can offer to link to them from your second site in exchange to their link to your first site, etc.
As you can see, there are numerous ways of developing cheap web traffic. you do , however, have to try and work out all your initial cost up front. This way there will be no hidden surprises along the way.
